OpeningDay2015

2015 OPENING DAY!!
Sunday June 14th, 10-1
Swampscott High School

The big day is almost here! Our opening day is this Sunday June 14th, same place same time as last year. This year will be even bigger and better with all of our core vendors returning along with a ton of new and exciting vendors we’ve added to the roster! In addition to the wonderful produce and meat we’ve had in the past you’ll be able to find pickles, cold brew iced coffee, hard cider, maple syrup, honey, baked goods, heirloom tomato plants, spices, soups, pasta, salsa, healthy snacks and of course more wonderful crafters!

And if that wasn’t enough to get you out there, we’ll also be having opening day activities for the kiddos! At every market this year we’ll have sidewalk chalk available to keep the kids occupied while you’re shopping and on opening day we’ll have face painting and balloon animals. Stay tuned for more kid-friendly events we have planned throughout the season.

We can’t wait to see everyone out there on Sunday, let’s make this a big opening day to show everyone how much the community appreciates supporting our local farms & businesses!

The Market is OPEN!

We’ve been blessed with two GORGEOUS Sundays so far and the market is now in full swing!  If you haven’t made it out yet, make sure you stop by to check out all of our new vendors this year like salsa, cheese & thai food.  Our farmers will continue to have more items every week as we move into the summer.  Since photos can often speak more than words, here are some photos from our fantastic opening day!

OpeningDay

The week has finally arrived! The market is opening for the season on Sunday and we couldn’t be more excited.

It is still early in the growing season but we guarantee that our vendors will be bringing some great stuff!  Things you can expect to see this time of year include items like lettuce, kale, strawberries, turnips, radishes, spring onions, greenhouse tomatoes, fresh herbs, rhubarb, and some beautiful plants.

We have a number of fantastic vendors joining us this year, in addition to the produce, you’ll be able to find grass-fed meats, fresh seafood, honey, pickles, flowers, wine, cheese, cannolis, coffee, baked confections, candy, bread, spices, soup, prepared seafood, thai food, fresh pasta & salsa (just to name a few).

For music on opening day we are pleased to have Marimbachic (Lydia Lucas) joining us.
