Split Risk is a Boston-area group of musicians who play for the love of the music.  Their guitar, bass, drums and vocals combine to play tribute to old and new sounds.  According to their website, their sounds is best summed up as follows (!):

“Picture a band that sounds like a mix between Foo Fighters, Gin Blossoms, and old school Clapton. Now picture a second band that sounds like Carrot Top, Bugs Bunny, Cherry Coke, and Animal (from the Muppets). Now picture a cover band of the second band mentioned. Now picture a rival cover band of the first cover band who isn’t quite as talented and refers to themselves as a tribute band. Split Risk is that tribute band.”
